Be-more-Journey

After over 20 years in the company, I can confirm that new opportunities are constantly opening up at SNP. I’ve been able to take advantage of a few, and I look forward to continuing to grow.

How I started at SNP

Following my training as an industrial clerk, it was clear to me that this was not the end of my professional career. I found out about SNP the old-fashioned way, via a newspaper advert, and decided to pursue a dual degree in business administration with a specialization in services marketing. During my studies, I already took on a number of responsibilities: These included setting up online recruiting for SNP on my own using specialist literature and web research. I felt that SNP gives you a lot of freedom to perform your tasks, but you can always ask someone for help.
And after graduating in 2003, many opportunities still lay ahead of me at SNP...

My “be more” journey

Over the next few years, I gained unique insights into the company’s processes as a sales and management assistant. It was an extremely exciting time, and I can draw on the experience I gained in my current role. Since 2011, I’ve been part of the Procurement team, keeping an eye on key purchasing issues. The best part of the job only came with time and experience: Today, I love passing on my knowledge and understanding of SNP as a whole to new colleagues.
Over the years, I’ve not only been able to watch SNP grow as a company, but also see the part I’ve played in it.

I recently received my SNP Hero hoodie as special recognition, and I wear it with pride. Every quarter, employees receive this award for special achievements. But with or without a hoodie, all my colleagues are SNP heroes for me, because we all give our best every day.

“Be more” means to me:

  • Assuming responsibility
  • Taking on difficult tasks
  • Celebrating the successes of colleagues
  • Thinking positively
  • Developing a creative spirit and dreaming up new ideas
  • Learning something new every day
  • Always continuing to develop
