The SHW Group stands for intelligent manufacturing in the automotive sector and is experiencing rising demand. To drive this development going forward, the company needed to transform its Powder Metallurgy business segment into a separate legal entity. Technically speaking, they needed to spin off the existing SAP system at the company code level. SNP delivered the audit-proof solution quickly and with minimized system downtime.

SNP’s industrialized transformation approach accelerates global SAP S/4HANA® program at BSH

The BSH Group is planning to fully transform and modernize its global SAP ERP systems. The aim is to create a new IT landscape in the SAP S/4HANA environment that is consistent, flexible and easy-to-maintain in order to optimize business processes and make technological leaps in the future. BSH wants to migrate 39 production sites in Europe, the USA, Latin America and Asia to SAP S/4HANA. Due to the complexity of the project, the company has opted for a step-by-step (wave-based) approach. The staggered SAP S/4HANA roll-ins need to be as fast and cost-effective as possible. They require a highly automated and secure methodology to ensure that the data is accurate and traceable. Minimizing project disruptions is another crucial aspect, as they can lead to considerable additional costs.

Bionorica implements software-driven data migration

How can a company successfully convert its existing ERP ECC system to SAP S/4HANA and tap the associated potential to drive its digital strategy? Bionorica implemented the real- time ERP suite with SNP software, setting the course for further growth and future innovation.

SNP automates and streamlines procurement processes with SAP® Ariba for Banco Supervielle

The development of the project had to be executed on schedule, as there was a time limit for the replacement of the previous purchasing system. The main challenge was to replace the system in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, entirely remotely. Due to the Argentinean company’s need to automate and streamline purchasing processes, the project involved establishing end-to-end coverage of the process through the SAP Ariba platform. This development involved the incorporation of guided purchasing (SAP Ariba Buying), strategic purchasing (SAP Ariba Sourcing) and supplier collaboration (Digital Supplier Network) scenarios. Minimizing the impact of the change of platform in Supervielle, an integration of the invoice and payment loading circuit with a non-SAP system had to be carried out, replacing 400+ product and service catalogs. In addition, SAP Ariba was integrated with the MS Dynamics payment system.

1,1 Milliarden Datensätze schnell und sicher migrieren. Das war selbst für erfahrene IT-Experten keine einfache Aufgabe: Neben dem Roll-out der neuen Oberflächentechnologie SAP Fiori für rund 2.500 User war die Einführung der SAP Analytics Cloud zum Management der Berichterstattung und Planung vorgesehen. Dieses Vorhaben erwies sich angesichts von 390 Buchungskreisen sowie 45 Domänen-Mappings als herausfordernd. Weitere Anforderungen, wie die zeitgleiche EURO-Umstellung für Kroatien, sorgten für eine immer wieder veränderte Ausgangslage. Zudem erschwerte die Komplexität der 1,1 Milliarden zu migrierenden Datensätze und die heterogene Systemlandschaft mit über 200 Schnittstellen in zahlreiche Umsysteme das Projektgeschehen. „SPAR Österreich und SNP haben für die SAP S/4HANA Fiance- Transformation erneut ein schlagkräftiges Team gebildet und konnten die sportlichen Projektanforderungen meistern, sagt Christian Silberberger, Senior Tech Lead SAP Finance, SPAR. „Von Vorteil war definitiv, dass das SNP-Team bereits über System- kenntnisse verfügte und das Projekt umgehend starten konnte.

Aare Energie AG: carve-out in a single step thanks to SNP methodology

During the carve-out project at Aare Energie AG, the master and transaction data had to be copied from the existing SAP system into a new SAP system, including all historical data for the business unit to be carved out. The data transformation also involved the migration of archive documents. The plan was to create the new SAP landscape by copying the existing production system. Deleting the copied data in the source system was not planned in the first step.
