New SNP white paper centered around the migration to SAP S/4HANA: facts, news and best practices

“The first edition of our white paper in 2022 received a strong response, and the migration to SAP S/4HANA continues to keep companies on their toes. That’s why we decided to bring out a new edition,” explains Gregor Stöckler, COO of SNP. “Our experience shows that the number of S/4HANA projects is increasing considerably every year. This makes it all the more important to share our practical knowledge from hundreds of projects with those companies facing the challenge of moving to SAP S/4HANA.”
As a new topic, the white paper addresses the hidden costs that are caused by operating an outdated SAP system. Following that, S/4HANA migration expert Steffen Drawert from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) clarifies in an interview which mistakes should be avoided during the migration and also provides inspiration for successful planning and implementation.
The meta study on SAP S/4HANA migrations has also been updated: The latest studies provide insights into the motivation, timing and approach of other companies implementing the conversion. Other topics include the different rollout strategies (big bang versus wave-based approach) and the role of the composable enterprise. In addition, other contributions address the topics of data management and customizing.
