Retail business process improvement with SAP S/4HANA and SAP CARConstrumart
Construmart was looking to completely update its SAP technology platform, which was and is used by the entire company, from senior management to the final operational, commercial and internal administrative areas. Through this project, the Chilean company capitalised on the benefits of SAP S/4HANA and the retail customer data concentrator: SAP CAR.
The Solution and Benefits
In order to carry out the upgrade required by the client, an upgrade and migration to SAP S/4HANA was carried out using the SNP Shell module and improvements were developed for the retail, purchasing, B2B, transport and warehousing areas, among others. The modules FI, CO, SD, MM, EWM Basic, TMS Basic, FSCM-CR, LO, IS-R, HCM were implemented. SAP CAR 4.0: POS DT & Audit, POS Inbound, DDF UDF. SAP PO 7.5. SAP Analytics Cloud. By incorporating SAP CAR, the company has better control of the retail process flow. This also allows it to target the manufacturer's reference solution, which has omni-channel potential for the currently expanding company. Construmart carried out a complete migration of its underlying technology infrastructure, allowing them to grow substantially in sales volumes and customer service in the short and medium term.
