Turning ideas into action with the Activate! Talent program
Great ideas start with great people. But without the right environment, those ideas may never reach their full potential. At SNP, we recognize that developing our people and harnessing their creativity go hand in hand. That’s why we created Activate!, a year-long talent program designed to help colleagues grow, collaborate, and make a tangible impact on the company.
Each year, around 15 participants from all over the world and from different departments are nominated to take part in this year-long program. Working in international teams, they explore topics in projects that matter for the company’s future, from improving processes and customer experiences to testing new ways of working and supporting sustainability. Each team has a dedicated project sponsor and mentor, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the journey.
But Activate! is about more than innovation. It’s also a powerful development journey that helps participants grow both personally and professionally. Each member receives a detailed individual potential analysis, highlighting strengths and areas for further development. Participants gain valuable experience in collaboration, communication, and presentation skills – from working in diverse teams to presenting use cases independently and receiving structured feedback at every step.
The program is intense both in terms of timing and content, pushing participants to step outside their comfort zones.
A major benefit of the program is the opportunity to build meaningful connections. Participants work closely with SNP professionals from different countries, departments, and roles – gaining new perspectives and forming networks that often continue long after the program ends. These relationships not only support collaboration but also make it easier to navigate the organization and get things done across teams.
What does Activate! mean to me? Growth. Courage. Community. I’ve learned to look beyond the obvious, to take feedback as a source of strength, and to keep evolving. The program showed me how much energy and creativity can arise when people truly support each other and believe in their own potential.
