SNP Implements Matrix42 Integration with SAP Solution Manager for Vossloh

Vossloh decided to extend its ALM (application lifecycle management) processes by introducing a second tool called Matrix42. Both tools needed to play to their individual strengths in order to improve the ALM processes even further. The global company opted to collaborate with SNP to save time and costs as well as reduce risks. Working together, the complex project was completed quickly. SNP’s industrialized transformation approach accelerates global SAP S/4HANA® program at BSH​

The BSH Group is planning to fully transform and modernize its global SAP ERP systems. The aim is to create a new IT landscape in the SAP S/4HANA environment that is consistent, flexible and easy-to-maintain in order to optimize business processes and make technological leaps in the future. BSH wants to migrate 39 production sites in Europe, the USA, Latin America and Asia to SAP S/4HANA. Due to the complexity of the project, the company has opted for a step-by-step (wave-based) approach. The staggered SAP S/4HANA roll-ins need to be as fast and cost-effective as possible. They require a highly automated and secure methodology to ensure that the data is accurate and traceable. Minimizing project disruptions is another crucial aspect, as they can lead to considerable additional costs.

Diehl Aircabin: two become one – keeping system harmonization always under control

During the past two years, Diehl Aerosystems, a division of the Diehl Group, drew up and enacted a new IT strategy for all of its business units. The goal was to use synergies across the division more effectively. An important line of action in this regard was harmonizing the processes of the division’s business units. In 2012, Diehl Service Modules GmbH (formerly Mühlenberg) was integrated into the division. Diehl Aircabin faced the challenge of consolidating its business processes with the new business unit, and launched the first major harmonization project in the division together with the new affiliated company. Up until its integration into the division, Diehl Service Modules worked with a Kifos solution from Sage bäurer GmbH as its ERP system. Within the scope of this harm-onization project, all of the associated logistics processes were to be discontinued and replaced with Diehl Aircabin’s processes. To do so, the processes were to be transferred to the existing SAP® ERP system.
